About the Breeder:
Having owned dogs all her life, Kay Lackey has been breeding under the name of HopeHill since 1989. She has been a member of The American Rottweiler Club since 1991 and strictly abides by their code of ethics. She takes a very personal interest in her dogs and in her breeding practices. Strict guidelines are followed in the placement of her puppies and the occasional adult. She follows up with her puppies through out their lifetime and maintains the philosophy 'my babies can always come home' if they are no longer wanted. All placement and sales are done by written contract after checking references. Her dogs have successfully competed in obedience, agility, and comformation. Due to a back injury she had to hire a handler for her personal dogs, but previously she was sole owner/breeder/handler. She is an active member in her local all breed club and tries to assist in all breed rescue whenever possible. She has bred many very nice rottweilers and is available for consultation and referral for those looking to purchase a great family member.
