About the Breeder:
At Cadance Shelties and Keeshonden our goal is to breed for healthy, happy and sound puppies. Socialization of our puppies begins in the whelping box; all puppies are raised in our home as members of the family. Our dogs compete in conformation, herding (for the shelties) and agility as well as being wonderful companions. We have only been breeding at Cadance for 6 years. Until then I was a student of the breed before I became a breeder of the breed; co-breeding with my mentor until I felt educated enough to go out on my own. During my mentoring I have put several Championships on dogs that I handled for other breeder/owners. I have been involved in the Shetland Sheepdog for about 20 years; getting my start in obedience and have been involved with the Keeshond for approximately 5 years.
