About the Breeder:
Our lives have revolved around dogs for 25 years; raising, training, showing and just enjoying them as part of our family. We decided to diverge from Dobermans and acquired our first Border Terrier in 1987. She turned out to be a versatile show dog, obedience worker, and family member who fit in with our active lifestyle and with the Dobermans. We now have four! We have found that Border Terriers are capable of almost any kind of dog related activity from competitive obedience to hiking partner and all in a small weatherproof package with enthusiastic attitude. We breed for health, temperament, and athleticism and look for prospective owners who appreciate these qualities. We recommend extensive socialization and a training program for all our puppies and provide guidance and support for the life of the dogs we breed. With experience in rescue work with dogs, cats, and horses, we appreciate the prospective dog owners who do the homework and research to find a breed suited to their lifestyle. We are happy to answer questions you may have about Border Terriers and are always willing to talk dogs.
