About the Breeder:
My goal is to breed quality Rhodesian Ridgebacks that are beautiful, intelligent and healthy. I have bred conformation champions, lure coursing champions and dogs that have done well in obedience and agility--even one search and rescue dog! I started in 1987 when I purchased a puppy that later became Ch. Misty-L's Chekeisha Rafiki ROM and I have been hooked on Ridgebacks ever since. I breed only 1 or 2 litters per year so that I may carefully plan each breeding and raise the puppies in my home. This gives them the best possible start on becoming good companion dogs. While I aim to produce show quality dogs, their temperament and upbringing is most important to me. After all, a dog's show career is short so they spend most of their lives as somebody's pet!
