About the Breeder:
I've been breeding and showing maltese for 9 years, although considered a novice in this field, I've been fortunate enough to have home-bred 10 maltese to their AKC Championship.I purchased my first maltese from a breeder affilitated with the American Maltese Assn. and wanted another 'baby' to love. My girl was so spoiled, I though the only baby she would accept would be one of her own.( I was wrong, this is the most loving breed I have ever owned.)I then, went back to my breeder and bred her to one of her AKC Champions, and received two puppies, which,of course, I couldn't part with. Following year, I went to another member of the maltese assn., and bred with her Champion.Again, I was blessed with two puppies, and, well, you guessed it....they stayed as well.lol. Through the years, I did manage to let a few of my puppies go to new homes, and that was the beginning of Johnees Maltese, which has made me extremly happy.I also take my puppies back, and only my own puppies,to 'baby-sit',should owner go on vacation.My babies are raised in my home, family room, built especially for them,and are very well socialized.My clients who have purchased my babies, have become my friends, and often we get together for 'play-dates'.All of my babies are vet-checked, wormed, and first shots before they leave.I do not give my own shots,I am not a doctor; and prefer to have babies completly examined by my vet. They also are paper trained and crate-trained, before they leave.I give a very generous health guarantee, and am available for questions during the day, and early evenings, emergency, with one of my babies,24hrs., 7 days a week.
