About the Breeder:
Wild Rose Standard Poodles are not kennel raised but in our home, as a part of our daily lives. They share our furniture, our beds, and mostly our hearts. Our whelping box is set up in the living room, and we live our lives around the puppies from the moment they are born. Our puppies are in constant contact with other animals, children, and our grandchildren, which we believe is the best way to socialize them right from the beginning. This also allows us to watch the personalities of each pup develop as they grow. The health and longevity as well as excellent temperaments being our greatest concern, we test for the following genetic health issues, OFA or Penn Hip, PRA/CERF, vWD, and through comprehensive blood tests, thyroid, Addisons, and diabetes. We use a program to determine the lowest possible COI for breeding. We do temperament testing at 7 weeks of age, and conformation evaluation at 8 weeks of age. We give a two-year written guarantee for genetic health issues with each puppy.
