About the Breeder:
Sunup German Shepherds is a small hobby kennel. Over 25 years ago we started with a handsome puppy who grew into the perfect German Shepherd. Group winning, BISS Ch Jahn's Silver Lance at Sunup, CD, and Therapy Dog. Lance taught us everything wonderful about German Shepherds. Beauty, Brains, and Courage. He is gone, but will never be forgotten. In keeping with Lance's legacy, we have 1 or 2 litters per year, which are born in a small room off our kitchen. All puppies are handled and loved from the moment they are born. We hope each puppy will grow into becoming a top conformation and performance champion, but we look for the best possible home for each of our puppies, whether the top show home, or the beloved pet home. Currently, our breeding program consists primarily of German Show Lines, but the house is and will always be, ruled by our special American Show Girl, Riverdell's Dark Obsession.
