About the Breeder:
My husband and I have had family dogs for hunting and field training for more than 30 years but did not breed our first litter of hounds until 2000 - our introduction to the PBGV started in 1996. All of our dogs are a major part of our family - raised in the home and our family pets. We have a limited breeding program and produce healthy, happy hounds, first and foremost, for our own program and Mirepoix PBGVs have been top winning show prospects. Our breeding dogs have OFA clearances for hips, heart, patella and thyroid. We do advanced eye clearances also for other genetic problems. The puppies we place outside of our home have a written health guarantee and we are always available for consultation and assistance and we strive to maintain contact with our puppy buyers over the years. We are active members of the PBGV Club of America and strive to honor the breeder code of ethics.
