About the Breeder:
My husband and I are just beginning in purebred dogs, but have a great foundation to build on and wonderful mentors. We enjoy showing our whippets and taking them to race meets, and one of our girls has nine points toward her AKC championship. We have also begun coursing training, and already have one JC. Our long-term goal is to produce whippets capable of earning show and running titles. To that end, we have just bred a litter (our second litter of whippets) out of one of our 'show girls' by an elegant and athletic dog with championships in straight and oval racing, and in lure coursing. The puppies were whelped in late Sept. 2004, and we are thrilled with them. We can hardly wait until they are old enough to show and run! Until then, they are all displaying a natural talent for cuddling and being extremely cute and funny. We also have a darling male borzoi, who is the honorary Uncle of our whippets. It's sweet to see how much he adores them. Our dogs are all house dogs, and very dear to us.
