About the Breeder:
I was born into a dog show family, my father bred and showed AKC CH Rottweilers he researched and imported his CH show stock after traveling personally to Germany in the late 1960's, before that he was involved with CH Bull Mastiffs. I trained and showed my CH Pugs in my youth, then spent the next 21 years with my focus as a Chow Chow enthusiast, occasional breeder, rescue and Chow advisor. My Chows were known for their Excellent & Outstanding Temperaments/Health, Dr. Berry of Agoura Meadows Animal Clinic in Southern CA area. I Stopped breeding Chows entirely in 1990 due to the onset of LUPUS affecting a blue bitch in my lines and also found myself being too busy running a retreat/dude ranch restoration project back in Wyoming. I wrote, designed, illustrated, published, and now sell a collector's book about Chow Chows Chinese Princess Dogs by Caroline Selden,ISBN# 0-9620474-0-6 I personally fell in love with my first Chinese Shar Pei 1984 and have been researching health, genetics issues, and may occasionally offer a select breeding of AKC CH titled stock, striving for excellent health and temperament, we offer contract sales to pre-approved forever Pei only homes. As of today (8/2004) I am concentrating more on our CH lineage BC MM AKC CSP bitch, CH Margem's Buttercup Encanto A, some of you in the ring know her as 'BC' for short or 'Buttercup', who has completed her show career and is now a champion titled bitch and I am working on a book about the CSP breed which I will publish at the end of 2006-07. I am currently a student at Animal Behavior College Clicker Method. We also offer our clients, rescue of Peis or our offspring, microchips, 24/7 voluntary advice and companionship training. I am also a Horse Trainer, sales, breeder, boarding, gentle Shrake style training of registered Gated Equines.
