About the Breeder:
CHELONS is located in a small rural town in Southwest Washington State. We are just a hop, skip and a jump across the Columbia River from Portland Oregon. The 'FRENCH BULLDOGS OF CHELONS' are owned and managed by Carl and Cheryl Collins. After years of admiring and enjoying the Frenchies at AKC show events CHELONS has, as of 2002, added the French Bulldog to our family. Our breeding goals have always been to produce sound dogs with great temperaments, flawless conformation and beautiful type. With the help of some wonderful mentors our desire is to carry this goal forward with French Bulldogs. All of our puppies are guaranteed in writing for health soundness. CHELONS is a hobby kennel. Our hope is to breed an average of two French Bulldog litters per year. We have enjoyed an international reputation for excellence in the dog world for over 30 years and are looking forward to the rewards and challenges we face with the Frenchies. Although the majority of our dogs are placed in homes as companions, we are excited about the prospect of growing our American and Canadian Championship French Bulldog 'Titles of Record' page. Hopefully, we will achieve a small part of the success we have achieved in breeding the Labrador Retriever. CHELONS Labradors has produced numerous International, American and Canadian Show Champions and AKC Obedience and Hunt Test titled dogs. We have also produced dogs that are actively involved in the Guide Dog Program, Dogs for the Deaf and Search and Rescue dogs. Cheryl Brown-Collins, originally established CHELONS in the late 70's, has been a licensed AKC Conformation judge for Labradors and German Shorthair Pointers and an AKC Retriever Hunt Test judge.
