About the Breeder:
My husband Bill and myself have been in Briards since 1989. We are careful breeders with an eye to the standard as well as temperament. Our puppy buyers are screened carefully, and we expect follow-ups through out the life of the dog. We also have a strict contract to protect the well fare of the dogs. Our breeding program began with our first Briard, 4XBISS Am/Can. Ch. Mielleux's Orageux De Cembre CD, CGC, HC, VT HOF. Bred only twice, in her first litter she produced one bitch who was a Regional Specialty WB, BOSW, and also was National Specialty WB and BOW, and later an AOM. This girl was also a multiple group winner, and in the only litter she had, four became champions, one finished with WD at the National. A litter sister to this bitch was BOW at a regional, and was National Specialty BOS, and Regional Specialty BOS. Bred twice, she produced only three puppies. One is a multiple group winner/placer, and was BOB at a Regional Specialty while carrying 10 puppies, two of which are finished, one a group placing special, with two more on the cusp of completing their champion, and another yet to return to the conformation ring. The second litter produced two champions, one which has gone on to become our foundation sire, is a group placer, and sired four champions, including National Specialty WD in his first litter. A litter sister has produced four champions and a group winner. We train our dogs for performance events as well as the conformation ring, believing that a perfect dog has a title at both ends. We believe in line breeding, with the carefull use of outcrosses to obtain qualities our line lacks, or could see improved.
