Home of the True Japanese Bear dogs, over the last 5 years, we at Sankofa akitas have selectively bred our Akitas to fit and meet the standard by which the breed was written.We believe an Akita should be athletic with much bone and heavy substance, with those attributes in mind,we feel we are breeding Akitas that fit these standards. JAN 31 2004....Our male Sankofa's the Saga Continues(WR07624201)won a 4 point Major and Best of Breed in Atlanta on Sat.---- March 27 & 28..Another Young Male Sankofa's Wolfcub Star of the Blk sky(WS06569002) won the points and took BOB on both days at the Newnan and Douglasville shows.---- April 8 thru 11..Our newly crown champion male Minda's The Untouchable (WR018199/03) took the Majors,3 out of 4 days in Perry Ga inc Stud dog on Sunday.---- Out of 9 shows in Ga for the year of 2004,we at Sankofa Akitas took points at 6 shows. 3 of the 6 shows were BOB and 3 of the shows were Majors.
