About the Breeder:
After showing and breeding West Highland White Terriers for a number of years, I bought my first Cairn because they have such affectionate and mischievous personalities. Cairns are nosey little characters that love the chaos of normal family life. They get along well with adults, children and other animals. I handle and groom my own dogs and have put AKC championships on twelve Cairns. Nine of my Cairns are home bred champions. As a retired registered nurse, my breeding philosophy is based on sound, healthy dogs with outstanding temperaments. Before being shown and bred, my dogs are medically screened and found clear of the health concerns found in the breed. Puppies placed as pets are sold with health guarantees and spay/neuter contracts. When puppies go to their new homes, they are leash broken, paper trained and are sleeping clean and dry all night in a dog crate. I am an active member of the Cairn Terrier Club of America and the Potomac Cairn Terrier Club.
