About the Breeder:
'Mollie', my first Rottweiler, started it all. She was a 'Thor' grandaughter (CH Gentle Thor of Kinderfox) and through 'Mollie' I met many friends in the Rottweiler world and in the dog world in general. We participated in Obedience Classes and attended Volhard Instructor Training Camps for many years. Another dog came in to my life, his name was 'Hugo' and I was his sixth home. He taught me so much about behavior and training. I joined the Colonial Rottweiler Club and the local Adirondack Rottweiler Fanciers. I became a member of the American Rottweiler Club in 1991 and was the Show Secretary for the ARC National Specialties in 1992 and in 1994. So much time, so many wonderful dogs. For about 7 years my friends and I worked in Rescue, forming Hudosn Valley Rottweiler Rescue and rehabilitated many fine Rottweilers in the upstate New York area. From my friend, Judy Koloski, came 'Fatey' and 'Russian'. We started sheepherding, conformation and obedience. The girls earned tiltes in obedience, herding and carting and 'Fatey' became an AKC Champion. Bred to 'Clint' (CH SilverHill Make My Day) she had a litter of nine puppies in 2002. Three out of the nine puppies finished their AKC Championships. 'Fatey' continues her sheepherding work here at Margrave Meadow Farm and achieved her PT on Sheep at age nine! She and her daughter 'Pinkie' (Ch. Margrave Missing Link) continue to work the barn and the sheep every day. Her daughter 'Ticket' (CH Margrave Many Are Called ) just whelped her second litter, three boys and two girls. We have high hopes for these in the future.
Then, in '02, I obtained my first Boston Terrier 'Maggie' . Her second litter produced five puppies, three Champions, two of whom are BISS and Camille who is looking for her majors after taking time for whelping. I contine to strive to breed healthy dogs with all of the appropriate health clearances, strong breed type and good temperaments.
