About the Breeder:
Dog breeding and exhibiting is a family tradition for us, along with my daughter and son-in-law,father, mother, and now my two year old grandaughter is even showing an interest in the dogs. Because collies have long been known for being wonderful family pets, sound temperaments are of extreme importance. And due to my personal philosophy that a pet should bring more joy than burden, health issues are of utmost concern to us. We take pride in our puppies that are raised in the house, well socialized, and have very little adjustment problems when going to new homes. Further believing that only the best dogs should be bred to improve subsequent generations, only a select few are either kept for showing or offered to appropriate show homes. We breed and have finished championships in both rough and smooth collies, found on our web site at www.geocities.com/luvechocollies. In addition, as we have intentionally monitored our gene pool to preserve intelligence, we also are the proud breeders of several obedience dogs. Most of all we understand the 'collie heart' from which their 'luv echoes.'
