About the Breeder:
I started showing toy poodles for my mother at the age of 8. I had made my first champion by the age of 17 in toy poodles. My mother was the breeder/groomer and I was the handler for those 9 years. I became involved in Shar Peis about 16 years ago with my first one that was given to me. My mother than bought a Shar Pei that she fell in love with shortly after that. When she bred her I became the proud owner of my first quality Shar Pei. I have been selectively breeding this line ever since. I only became involved in showing Shar Peis within the past year when I stopped showing Montadale sheep. This is the beginning! I am doing extremely well for a 'new-comer' to the Shar Pei ring and feel that my lines definitely have a future. I have very few litters a year and am finding that the general public need education about the Shar Pei and their wonderful qualities through the placement of my last litters (2003). I will not be breeding agin until the Spring of 2004 so that I may concentrate on showing the animals that I presently have.
