About the Breeder:
Established in 1972 by my mother, Kathy Lorentzen, and now operated by both of us, the Ocoee breeding program has always been aimed at producing top quality English Springer Spaniels for bench show competition while at the same time focusing on creating healthy, happy sound family companions. Our own personal dogs are pets first and we breed with the intention of placing most of our puppies in loving pet homes, not as show dogs. All of our dogs are permanently identified by microchip and certified by OFA and CERF to have normal hips and eyes. We also do our very best to avoid any and all other genetic problems. All of our pet puppies are sold with limited registrations on spay/neuter contracts in order to protect the future of the breed. We strive to produce dogs that closely conform to the breed standard in every way, both physically and mentally. We have a proven track record, with over 35 AKC Champions of Record to our credit and a host of cherished family companions in homes around the country. We do our best to match every family with the right puppy to ensure a long and happy relationship.
