About the Breeder:
I met my first wheaten in 1995 and fell in love with the breed. A year later I had one for myself. Since then I have become active in showing and breeding these wonderful dogs. With the aid of my many mentors I have developed a breeding program (Jubilee Wheatens) that is centered on producing dogs that represent the breed standard, in body, mind and spirit, as well as striving for healthy dogs. I have and will continue to research the health problems in the breed and do whatever it takes to produce sound, healthy dogs. I spend time with each prospective owner. I help them decide if this is the right breed for them. I talk with them about the current health problems in the breed and what I am doing to prevent problems from occurring in my lines. I also make sure that each person that gets a puppy from me has all of the necessary information they need from bring the puppy home to choosing the right puppy class and veterinarian. As with any good breeder I am always available to answer questions from anyone: owner, prospective buyer or curious person. I whelped my first litter in 1998 and have raised five more since then. I thoroughly love each and every puppy. I am continually socializing the litter so that the puppies can easily adjust to their new homes when they leave at nine weeks. I spend hours playing with and observing each puppy. I also spend many hours with prospective owners so that I can ensure that each puppy will go home with the right family. This is a truly wonderful breed and I am proud to be owned by a wheaten.
