About the Breeder:
Talisman Australian Shepherds and Border Collies is not a kennel. Our dogs live in our home and are part of the family. All of our dogs are worked with in one venue or another, whether agility, obedience, flyball, stock work/herding or bear 'tracking' in the backyard. We breed litters on a limited basis, and look for homes that appreciate and understand the versatility, personality, instincts and characteristics of both breeds. Our priority is to find loving homes that are willing to make a life time commitment to one of our pups. Preference is given to some performance homes & those interested in becoming involved in the dog sports. We OFA hips and elbows, Cerf eyes annually, MDR1 test for ivermectin sensitivity, and test thyroid prior to breeding. We home-raise and socialize our puppies to be sound in Mind, Body & Spirit. Our puppies tend to be medium to high drive and outgoing, and can excel at performance or show while still being loving companions with an 'Off' switch. Our priority is to produce healthy dogs with sound temperaments, correct structure and movement and moderate size. Puppies eyes are Cerf'd prior to going home, started on housebreaking, cratetraining,have first shots & worming and are fed a natural diet. 30 month health guarantee for debilitating inherited disorders.
